Mars

                    Watch

This website was created to provide links to information on the weather events of Mars.  Those events being clouds, dust storms,  Polar Hoods, and the Polar Ice Caps.  On each website, the author's name is provided,  along with any other credit due.  Also featured on this website are my amateur images of  the Mars 2005 apparition and now 2007-2008.  See link at bottom for the images. Of note is the late October dust storm of 2005.   Some of the images were featured on CNN, MSNBC and other major news networks along with Astronomy Magazine.   Mars apparition 2007 - 2008 is here.   It should be an active weather season on Mars in 2007, along with outstanding position, high in the night sky,  for Northern Hemisphere observers.  A special thanks to Jeff Beish and Don Parker.  Two pioneers of Mars observation and study who I'm lucky  to be acquainted with.
